Welcome nature lovers, you will be taken on a fun & safe commercial 6 person zodiac to tour the area and see the glowing waters and star-filled skies. Let us be your guide to interpret an ancient pictograph, hear stories of local legends and famous places along the way as we await darkness and the magical sparkling ocean plankton coming alive.

Here you will offload your gear in a bay sheltered from most winds, your stay begins with a local fish market sampler of fresh seafood to BBQ. Amenities on-board the yacht will be explained along with your sleeping arrangements.

You are left on-board at sea awaiting darkness and the glowing water phenomena begins. Explore the overhead Milky Way and phosphorescence in the ocean bay. Later on, nighttime board games, movies and snack. A furnace could provide warmth in the spring but slippers are suggested as its cool at low levels. There is a fully furnished kitchen essentials, bathroom, bedding and towels provided.

We go over amenities of your bareboat charter. Go over ways to enjoy the oncoming dark night at sea. Bioluminesense, star gazing with an app to understand the heavens. Be on the lookout for seals, bears, deer, orcas and porpoises. You now will have the yacht to yourselves as a group.

Dress for swimming and cooler evening time on yacht.
Take slippers as warmth onboard the yachtstay is cooler at foot level.
Hot water is heated by propane burner for dishwashing use.
Solar shower as shower hot water needs genset use and not recommended as noise scares.

Enjoy the overnight stay, then in the morning have complimentary coffee or tea, try some fishing, pull a crab trap, kayak to shore – hike – explore.

Load up all the gear, set off from the yacht on a trip back to shore. View an eagles nest, oyster beaches, seal colony, learn about the oyster farms and some famous people vacation homes and we end up back at the boat launch.
